I'm an Australian born figurative artist whose work explores the weight and presence of singular objects.

 

Isolated subjects that act as visual anchors on which I can build a painting around. I'm not interested in capturing a likeness as much as I am in mark making, colour and energy. 

 

In the vulnerability of standing alone.

I'm also fascinated with the power of story telling, I'm an award winning script writer, and some of my previous shows have incorporated written word or explored historical events,
